Bundoran Community Centre
Bundoran Community Centre has confirmed that the Paddle The Bay fundraising event will take place in 2025.
Paddle The Bay 2025 will involve an epic journey, paddling from the foot of the Slieve League cliffs all the way to the Bundoran Boat Quay, a total of 37km.
Funds raised from the event will go towards retrofitting and upgrading the older areas of Bundoran Community Centre, bringing them up to a higher standard to better serve all those who come through the doors of Bundoran Community Centre, and will also help subsidise counselling services through a new initiative starting in Autumn 2025.
Taking part in this year’s challenge will be Ryan Allen (Irish Gap Year), Conor Maguire (Red Bull Athlete), James Garvey (Rossnowlagh Surf School), Chris McGloin (Chris McGloin Building & Projects), as well as Iarom Madden (Surf Coach and Physicist) and Oisin Armstrong (Madden’s Bridge Bar), who are doing the Paddle The Bay challenge for the first time.
