Ballyshannon parade the latest casualty

Ballyshannon and Donegal Town have become the latest casualties in the evergrowing list of cancelled St. Patrick's Day parades scheduled for our national feast day. 

Using an imaginative and illustrative graphics one of the organisers former town councillor Billy Grimes advised the public that this year's parade would be cancelled in a bid to curb the spread of Coronavirus.

Mayor Pauric Kennedy announced the postponement of the Donegal town parade in line with the earlier government statements.

Kennedy thanked the many volunteers that had put a great effort into making the parade the biggest in the county and expressed the wish that it might be possible to reschedule it to a later date.
