The Burt U15 hurlers who will represent Donegal at the Féile na nGael national finals in Wexford on Saturday
The Burt hurlers and camogie players will represent Donegal at the national finals of Féile na nGael in Wexford this weekend.
Both teams embarked from Hibernian Park on Friday morning, heading for the sunny south east and an overnight stay in student accommodation at Waterford Institute of Technology (now the South East Technological University), before a full day of competition in Wexford on Saturday 21 June.
The competition will draw the county champions from the 32 counties and visiting teams from Britain and North America to play host clubs in Wexford in the 2025 edition of the John West-sponsored Féile na nGael.
Thousands of young hurlers and camogs will have their first experience of playing in a national competition in what is effectively an All-Ireland championship for club U15 teams.

Coached by Paul Johnston, Andrew Wallace and Kieran Toner, the Burt U15 hurlers have been drawn in Division 3 and will play their group games against Armagh champions Keady and Wexford’s Horeswood at Duffy Rovers grounds near Enniscorthy.
The club’s U15 camogie team is coached by Karen McLaughlin, Shane McDaid, James McBrearty and Susan Johnston. They are in Division 4 and will play Westport (Mayo), Carrickmore (Tyrone) and Ballinagh (Cavan) in their group games.

Months of preparation have been put into trip, and the Burt club thanked kit sponsors Paul Johnston of MD White & Co solicitors, and Karen and Eunan McDaid from The Frontier Hotel, and the wider community and buisnesses for supporting all the fundraising events held over recent weeks.
The hurlers from Sean Mac Cumahill's and St Eunan's will represent Donegal at a regional Féile na nGael competition at the Connacht GAA Centre, also on Saturday.
The equivalent football U15 competition, Féile Peil na nÓg, will be held in Derry on Saturday week, 28 June.
