Donegal pair Brendan Barr and Evan Tweed have signed new contracts with NIFL Championship side Institute.
Newcunningham native Barr and Tweed from Carndonagh played for the Derry side last season as they finished seventh in the second tier of the Northern Irish league.
Former Finn Harps manager Peter Hutton is the boss of the side and spoke of the players coming back for the new season.
"Evan’s resigning is a huge boost for the club. Evan, even though he is still relatively young, has vast experience having played at both Championship and Premiership level.
"Evan is the type of player every manager wants at his club, he is low maintenance and doesn’t shirk responsibility, he’s great to have in the changing room and demands high standards of those around him, he will, I’m sure, continue to drive this club forward.
“Brendan is a player I have watched from afar for a few years previously, at Derry City, Ballymena and obviously Institute. Brendan is technically very good and, for one, still relatively young has gained some great experience.
"He too still has his best years to come & is a player that I believe can still improve & we aim to provide him with the tools to do this.
"Brendan is another young player that we hope has many good seasons ahead of him with Institute FC.”
