SECONDARY SCHOOL SPORTS GIRL
The winner of the Secondary School Sports Girl Award is Kyra Gavigan, St. Columba’s College, Stranorlar
This is Kyra’s first Donegal Sports Star Award. Kyra represented her school with distinction in soccer at under-15, under-17, and senior level. Her consistently high performances earned her selection for the Ulster Schools Inter-Provincial trials, where she went on to play in all three matches at the tournament. Kyra’s performances at this level were further recognised with selection on the Ireland Schools team, where she competed against Northern Ireland, Scotland, England, and Wales.
In GAA, Kyra lined out at under-15 and under-17 level, playing a key role as the under-17 team claimed Ulster honours in their division. She also represented her school in basketball at under-15 and under-17 level, once again proving herself a valuable and dependable team member.
Kyra has shown versatility, commitment, and success across soccer, Gaelic football, and basketball.
