Conor Orr got his first winner of 2022, riding a 25/1 shot at Fairyhouse on Sunday.
Orr took the Nigel Slevin-trained Red As Rust to an impressive victory in the Fairyhouse Mares Maiden Hurdle.
Three hurdles from home, Orr made a move on the nine-year-old.
By the end, Orr and Red As Rust were 12 lengths in front of Banntown Girl, the 6/4 favourite under Danny Mullins’ guidance.
Pau Townend and Brooklynn Glory had a mishap at the last, allowing Orr to romp clear.
