Donegal Town's first Jumper Day has raised €2,800 to assist local families  living with dementia.

"A word of gratitude to all our schools, businesses and organisations that took part in the first Donegal Town Jumper day that raised €2,800," Donegal Town mayor Anna Gallagher said.

"This is something we would like to grow and make an annual event in the town. We are working together to make Donegal Town the first dementia friendly town in the county. Free workshops will run again. I will keep you updated on the Mayor's page. All funds raised will be spent locally, supporting families living with dementia. "Your generosity is helping your community.
