Convoy man to face trial over Letterkenny assault

The man appeared for a brief hearing at Letterkenny District Court this week

A Convoy man will stand trial for a serious assault in Letterkeny.

Kyle Leeper was before Letterkenny District Court this week.

Leeper is charged with assault causing harm in an incident on February 20, 2022 at Lower Main Street, Letterkenny.

The case of the 23-year-old, of Carrickbrack, Convoy, was adjourned until July 17, 2023 to allow for a book of evidence to be prepared.

Legal aid was granted to Leeper’s solicitor, Mr Donough Cleary.

Judge Vincent Deane remanded Leeper on continuing bail.
