A new childcare facility is to be developed in Termon.
Three classrooms will be added to the Craoibhin Community Enterprise Centre as part of the new development of the childcare facility.
Planning permission has been sought from Donegal County Council.
Plans have been lodged with the local authority by Michael McBride, the Chairperson, on behalf of the Craoibhin Community Enterprise Centre at Currin, Termon.
The proposed development would also include staff facilities, storage, toilets and connection to the existing services.
An Craoibhín Childcare was established in 2008 and the facility currently has four rooms, including créche which facilitates children from 6 months up to 3.5 years, two Naíonra rooms for ECCE children from 2 years and 8 months and an after school room which facilitates school age children up to 12 years of age.
Craoibhin Community Enterprise Centre, Termon is a community owned facility.
Among the many other amenities on site include a sports hall,meeting rooms and commercial units.
Donegal County Council say a decision is due on the application by June 26.
