Gardaí are investigating an alleged assault on a teenage boy by a man at Murlog, Lifford on Saturday, May 27, at approximately 8.30pm. 

A motorist who was passing at the time stopped and intervened. The boy in question did not require medical attention at the scene. 

“We appeal to that motorist to make contact with Gardaí,” said a Garda spokesperson. “We also appeal to anybody else who may have witnessed the incident to make contact with us. If anybody believes that they may have captured the incident or any of the people involved on their dash cam footage then we ask them to make contact with us also.
