Gardaí have responded to reports of a suspicious approach in Ballybofey on Friday afternoon, July 28.
Reports have been circulating on social media in relation to an incident where it is alleged three young men attempted to beckon two young children into a car at the Finn Valley Centre carpark.
The car is described as a Volkswagen Passat, dark in colour and with a Cavan registration. It is understood that CCTV has been made available to gardaí.
The Garda Press Office stated: "Gardaí responded to reports of a suspicious approach in Ballybofey, Co. Donegal on Friday afternoon, 28th July 2023. No offences were disclosed."
