A man was taken to hospital having been assaulted by two men in Ballybofey on Saturday night.
Gardaí are investigating the assault that occurred on Donegal Road, Ballybofey, on Saturday, September 9, between 11.25pm and 11.30pm.
A man is believed to have been assaulted by two males at that location and they then left the area on foot in the direction of Ballybofey Town. The injured man was taken by ambulance to Letterkenny University Hospital to receive treatment for injuries sustained, none of which are believed to be life-threatening in nature.
“We appeal to anybody who may have travelled on that stretch of road (Donegal Road) who had a dash cam between 11.20pm and 11.45pm to make contact with Gardaí,” An Garda Siochana said. “If anybody witnessed the incident or if they have any relevant information we ask them to contact Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100.”
