Gardaí are investigating a hit-and-run where a car collided into the rear of another car and proceeded to flee the scene
Gardaí are investigating a hit-and-run that occurred in Tonyhabboc, Newtowncunningham. A driver had travelled along the R237 and came to a stop upon reaching the junction with the N13.
A car, described as being blue in colour and possibly a VW collided with the rear of their car. The driver of the blue VW did not remain at the scene but turned right onto the N13 and travelled onwards in the direction of Burt/Bridgend.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, November 22 at approximately 5:20 pm.
“We appeal to anybody who may have travelled on the N13 between Bridgend and Newtowncunningham on that date between 5:15 pm and 5:30 pm and who had a dash cam to make the footage available to Gardaí in Letterkenny,” Garda Grainne Doherty said.
