St Johnston woman Maureen McLaughlin has been announced as a finalist in the National Brown Bread Baking Competition.

Maureen is one of eight finalists for the National Brown Bread Baking Competition supported by Euronics in association with the National Ploughing Association and the ICA which will take place at the National Ploughing Championships in Ratheniska, Co Laois, from September 17-19. The winner will win €5,000 cash prize and a NEFF Slide and Hide oven worth over €2,000.
