Urris continue good form in Division 3 with win over Lifford

Oisin Hession scored 1-5 for Urris against Naomh Padraig

Urris made it two wins from two outings with a big win over Naomh Padraig, Lifford on Saturday evening, in Pairc Mac Diarmada, Lifford.

Oisin Hession, John McCarron, Luke Devlin, and Lorcan McGonagle were all in fine scoring form for the Inishown men.
Between them, the quartet accounted for 1-17 of their side's tally, with Oisin Hession netting the goal from the penalty spot. Hession also kicked five points and was the winners' top scorer.

Luke Davy, Gavin McDaid and Tiarnan McDonald were also among the Urris scorers.
Kyle Martin did the bulk of the scoring for a below-par Naomh Padraig. In all the centre-forward kicked six points. Brian Breslin and Johnny Mahon scored the other two points for the locals.

The win means Urris are sitting on top of the Division Three table on four points ahead of Red Hughs, on score difference. Something which will please new manager Stephen Cooney.
