Burt remain on course for promotion with a three-point win over hosts Letterkenny Gaels at Páirc na nGael on Sunday.

The home side, with the wind advantage in the opening half, led 0-4 to 0-2 at half-time. Adam Duffy, Paddy Doherty, and Shay Doherty (2) were the Gaels' scorers, while Keith McColgan and Seán McHugh scored for the visitors.

Both sides found the windy conditions difficult. Shay Doherty kept the home side in the game with two scores in the 10th and 18th minutes, while Burt reduced the deficit with scores from Calvin Gallagher and a Seán McHugh free.

Darren Gallagher levelled matters with a massive two-pointer on 46 minutes, and it took a late two-pointer from Jack O’Brien and a fisted point from Michael McElroy in injury time to seal the victory.
