Naomh Bríd have a little too much firepower for Lifford

A superb tally of 1-13 from Aaron McGrory, along with a brace of goals each from Gearoid Gallagher and Eoghan Gallagher gave the Ballintra men a big win over their Lifford visitors

Naomh Bríd had their shooting boots on when they proved too strong for Naomh Padraig, Lifford, in this weekend's Division Three clash in Trummon. 

Centre half forward Aaron McGrory led from the front and was well clear when it came to the scoring stakes.

The elusive number 11 finished the game with 1-13 to his credit at the end of what was a cracking encounter. 

Gearoid Gallagher and Eoghan Gallagher were among the other goal scorers with two each.

And they both chipped in with a few points as did Callum Gallagher and Jack O’Hara, in what was the local team’s biggest win of the season.

Wing forward Kyle Martin was in fine form for the visitors and was Naomh Padraig’s leading scorer.  He scored 1-8 while Paul Lynch was the other main contributor for Naomh Padraig with 0-5.
