Gaoth Dobhair had to come from behind to snatch a late win and claim the two precious league points in their win over Malin, in Magheragallon, on Sunday afternoon.

In a closely contested encounter, despite being short a number of regulars, Malin took the game to Gaoth Dobhair from the off.

Malin led 0-6 to 0-4 at halftime and the Inishowen men extended their lead out to three points early in the second half as they led 0-7 to 0-4.

And while the locals mounted a spirited revival, the Inishowen men still had their noses in front as the clock ticked on full-time.

And looking down the barrel of defeat, the locals finished with a flourish and three late points to claim two precious league points.
