Donegal face Louth on Sunday at 4pm at MacCumhaill Park in Ballybofey, with a place in the All-Ireland quarter-finals the prize that awaits the victors.
The side managed by Jim McGuinness sealed second place in Group 1 of the round-robin series thanks to Ciaran Moore's winner against Mayo, 0-19 to 1-15, while Louth came third in Group 3 behind Monaghan and Down.
Louth lost 1-23 to 4-8 against Monaghan and then 0-25 to 0-24 when they played Down. Last Sunday, they assured themselves of a last 12 place thanks to a 2-17 to 2-14 victory over Clare in Portlaoise.

Ger Brennan's Louth were 3-14 to 1-18 winners in the Leinster SFC final, their first provincial crown since 1957.
The tie is the fourth of the four All-Ireland preliminary quarter-finals and all four will be streamed live on GAA+ with Kerry against Cavan and then Dublin against Cork on Saturday, while Down against Galway precedes Donegal's battle with Louth on Sunday.
