'Investment for the future' Naomh Ultan confirm pitch redevelopment works

CLG Naomh Ultan have confirmed that contracts have officially been signed for the redevelopment of the playing pitch at Páirc Naomh Ultan.

This works will be taken on by Pier Force construction, which will include: the installation of a state-of-the-art drainage system, a sand-based foundation, a new premium sports grass surface, along with dugouts and a range of associated works.

A statement from the club read: "These enhancements will ensure that our facilities meet the highest standards, supporting both player performance and community engagement year-round.

"We are confident in Darragh Quinn and his team's expertise and look forward to a successful delivery of this project.

"This development follows the completion of our floodlit training pitch and walking track facilities, and together they represent a transformative investment in the future of our club.

"Funding for this major initiative was secured with support from our Sports Capital Grant allocation, awarded last year. Our Development Officers, Peter McFarlane & Roger Meehan - along with their committee of Martin Shovlin, Danny Byrne, Alan Lyons & Daniel McGlynn have been working on this phase of the project over the course of the past year.

"These improvements go beyond facilities - they are an investment in the future. This project is a huge step forward in delivering first-class facilities for our members and the generations to come at Naomh Ultan."
