Na Rossa were the visitors to Pairc na Gael on Saturday evening for a Division 3 Round 9 fixture and it was Letterkenny Gaels who took the points.

The Leitir men led by two at half time, 0-7 to 0-5, with points from Christian Bonner and Aidan McHugh, with three each, and Oisin Caulfield scoring.

The Gaels response was an excellent two-pointer from Conor Browne and one each from Ben Gallagher, Shay Doherty (F) and Diarmuid O'Cathail. The visitors were reduced to 14 men before half-time when Eugene Molloy picked up a second yellow.

The home side kept the scoreboard ticking with points from Brian Diver, O'Cathail and a two-pointer from Dean Kennedy to go two up. Na Rossa responded with a point from corner forward Patrick O'Donnell. Gaels then hit six points from Liam McAlary, Paddy Doherty, Kennedy and Ben Gallagher, with three, to go seven up.

Na Rossa never gave up and hit four in a row with points from O'Donnell and McHugh(3) including a two pointer. The hosts made sure of the win with late scores from sub Matthew Winters(2) and O'Cathail
