Former Donegal Gaelic footballers Andy Curran and Eddie Gallagher recently met on a social night out in Castlefin.

Curran, who played with both the Sean MacCumhaills and Robert Emmets GAA clubs, is an Ulster Championship winner with Donegal in 1972 and 1974.

Gallagher, who played for the St Naul’s club, also played senior championship football for Donegal in the 1960’s, and played on the Donegal team to win its first Ulster U-21 Championship in 1963, while also playing on the Donegal Ulster U-21-winning team of 1964.
