GAA name referee for Donegal's All-Ireland SFC semi-final against Meath

Paul Faloon from Down will be the referee for Donegal's All-Ireland SFC semi-final the weekend after next.

Donegal take on Meath on Sunday week at 4pm at Croke Park in the second of the last-four ties.

It's the second time he has taken charge of both teams in this year's championship, having called the shots in Donegal's 0-19 to 1-15 win over Mayo at Dr Hyde Park last month, as well as overseeing Meath's draw with Roscommon at the same venue.

Saturday's semi-final between Tyrone and Kerry will be officiated by Joe McQuillan from Cavan, who is turning 50, meaning he is in his last season at the top bracket and has to step down at the end of the season because of the GAA’s age eligibility policy.
