Moville finally found the winning formula to record their first win of the season away over Naomh Pádraig, Lifford in Pairc MacDiarmada on Saturday evening.

Pointless nine games into the new season, the north Inishowen won with a bit to spare. 

Seamie McLaughlin, Brendan Moore, Christy Hegarty, Ronan Farren, and Michael Leech scored the goals for the winners. 

McLaughlin, Moore, Hegarty, along with Michael Barr and Josh McDermott, all posted points for the Declan McDermott-managed side. 

In a cracking contest, Kyle Martin led the Naomh Padraig challenge and the wing forward capped a fine performance in front of the Moville posts for Naomh Padraig with a personal scoring tally of one goal and eight points.

Jonny Robb scored the other Naomh Padraig goal and also chipped in with a point. 

Micky Gallagher, Daniel Lindsay, and Paul Lynch all raised white flags on the night for the locals.
