Burt had simply too much power for a game but outgunned Carndonagh side at Foden.
The county champions led by 3-7 to 1-6 at the break after a reasonably well-contested first half.
Burt’s goals in the opening half came from Jack Gallagher, Kyron McColgan and the inspirational Conor Gartland and they had points from Fiachra Gill (0-2), Dara Grant, Gartland, McColgan (0-2), and Fiachra Gill.

Donegal county keeper Luke White was the main scoring threat for Carn and he landed an impressive 1-5 in that opening period with Darragh McCormick supplying the remaining two points.
The scoring rate slowed a bit on the restart, but there was never any doubting Burt’ s supremacy who look certain to take either second or third slot in the knockout stages.
Carn were only able to add on three more points in this half while Burt added on 1-6.
Their goal came from Paddy Curran while Gartland (0-2) Stephen Gillespie, Aidan McKinney (0-2) and Kyron McColgan had their points.
