Ciaran Whelan, ex-Dublin and RTÉ GAA Podcast: “Kerry played Donegal on their terms and really blew their system out of the water. They sort of exposed that there was no Donegal Plan B.

“When they did fall behind, they lacked a bit of imagination on changing it up.  How Paudie Clifford was allowed to control the entire game will fill a lot of inches and air time in Donegal over the next few days. 

“Because they handed him the keys to unlock the entire match. Kerry just were a step ahead of Donegal and were worthy winners. 

“You can look at the ifs and the buts often, coming away from All-Ireland finals. But Sunday was just clinical from a Kerry perspective”.
