Seanán Carr playing for the Donegal Under-20s
Seanán Carr was named Man of the Match for Donegal Boston in the Boston Intermediate final on Sunday.
The Four Masters man hit 0-5 for the side, including two frees, as he was named Man of the Match, while Darren Grant from Urris captained the side and kicked a two point free.
Donegal Boston won the match by 2-18 to 1-15 against Cork Boston, with Carr also setting up the first Donegal goal.
Naomh Pádraig Uisce Chaoin’s Drew McKinney and Hugh Devine, Moville’s Eoghan McLaughlin, Carndonagh’s Thomas Ramsey, Killybegs’ Eoin McGing, Phillip Myers of Four Masters, Jack O’Brien of Naomh Muire and Buncrana’s Mark McFadden and Padraic McLaughlin were all part of the panel for the team.
In the Senior final, Hugh ‘Yank’ Boyle of Naomh Muire, Íochtar na Rosann started in nets for Donegal Boston, while Corey Gallagher from Dungloe also started as they lost to Galway Boston
Killybegs native Jason Noctor was on the bench in the 2-17 to 2-11 defeat at the Irish Cultural Centre in Canton.
