Declan Bonner returns to intercounty management with Fermanagh
Fermanagh have confirmed the appointment of Declan Bonner as their new senior football manager.
The 1992 All-Ireland winner takes over from Kieran Donnelly, who lost out in the Ulster SFC quarter-final, before reaching the Tailteann Cup semi-finals, but were beaten by eventual winners, Kildare.
Bonner has previous experience in inter-county management, leading the county to a first Ulster final for five years in 1998 before losing out against Derry in a three-year term in charge.

He came back again in 2018 for a second spell and led the side to back-to-back Ulster titles in his first two years, before stepping aside in 2022 after an Ulster final loss to Derry was followed up by an All-Ireland elimination at the hands of Armagh.
More recently at club level, he led his native Na Rossa to a Junior A championship title in 2023 before guiding Erne Gaels to the Fermanagh SFC title for the first time since 1981, ending a 43-year drought for the club.
