Donegal GAA won’t be appealing the €7,500 fine recently dished out to both them and Armagh following a brawl at the end of May's Ulster final.

The punishments had initially been proposed by the Central Competitions Control Committee (CCC) for 'disruptive conduct by players'.

However, both counties requested a Central Hearings Committee hearing, which took place a fortnight ago.

But the CHC upheld the original decision, and while a further appeal route is available at Central Appeals Committee, DonegalLive understands that the county board now look set to draw a firm line under the matter.
