Donegal Ladies played their part in a first ever Interprovincial Masters series as Ulster lifted the title in St Brigid’s GAA Club,  Roscommon on Saturday.

There were five Donegal representatives on the Ulster side who came through the round-robin series to reach the final where they took on Munster.

It took extra-time to decide the issue but in the end Ulster were victorious by 2-10 to 1-7.

The Donegal members of the Ulster panel included Maria Devenney (St Eunan’s), Maureen O Donnell (Termon) Debbie Lee Gaffney (Fox) (Eunan’s), Lorraine O Sullivan (Eunan’s) and Sheena Kearney McGonigle (Urris).
