Gaeil Fhánada and Naomh Columba are in Ulster LGFA action this weekend as both clubs look to earn provincial quarter-final spots. 

Clare Friel struck a dramatic late winning goal as Gaeil Fhánada got the better of Ardara in the Donegal Intermediate Ladies Final on a difference of 1-9 to 1-6.

They now host Cavan’s Knockbride on Sunday at Pairc Uí Shiail with a throw-in time of 2pm. 

Meanwhile, Naomh Columba edged Urris 3-13 to 2-15 in the Donegal showpiece with Niamh NÍ Bhaoill grabbing 2-9 of that haul. 

The Glencolmcille girls are on the road Saturday as they go away to Kileevan Sarsfields of Monaghan with that one also pencilled in for a 2pm start.
