Former Aodh Ruadh senior football boss Jimmy Langan
Aodh Ruadh are on the hunt for a new senior football team boss with the news that Jimmy Langan has stepped away.
Langan, who had Liam Gilmartin and Brian Roper as part of his backroom team, helped guide the side back into Division 1 of the All-County League while Aodh Ruadh also held onto its SFC status after seeing off St Naul’s in the relegation play-off decider.

Announcing the departure on their own social media, Aodh Ruadh chairperson Barry O’Neill said: “I want to thank Jimmy Langan for his service to Aodh Ruadh and bringing the Club back to the top tier of Donegal Club Football.
“Many younger players were introduced to Senior level over the last 12 months something that is crucially important going forward.
“Jimmy and his management team were a pleasure to work with and leave the Senior Football Squad in a very healthy position for their successors.”
