Paul McGonigle set to take charge of Buncrana with assistance from Ryan Bradley

Gary Duffy recently brought his six-year spell in charge at the Scarvey to an end and DonegalLive has also learned that another former Donegal star, 2012 All-Ireland winner Ryan Bradley, will assist McGonigle.

Paul McGonigle is the new senior football team manager at Buncrana, stepping into the role following the departure of Gary Duffy.

Duffy recently brought his six-year spell in charge at the Scarvey to an end and DonegalLive has also learned that another former Donegal star, 2012 All-Ireland winner Ryan Bradley, will assist McGonigle. 

McGonigle has been involved in Donegal senior backroom teams during spells under both Jim McGuinness and Declan Bonner.

More recently, he has managed Buncrana’s reserve side, guiding them to Intermediate ‘B’ championship success in 2025.
