Another of the new faces of Naomh Conaill who made a massive impact, Malone stepped up many times when a score was needed.
Like Muldoon, Malone had been focusing on soccer and was also with Sligo Rovers until a year ago, when he decided to switch codes.
He ended the championship with 2-23 and as top scorer for Martin Regan’s men, with his long range point scoring being a crucial factor.
Only making his senior debut for the club in 2025, his crucial two pointer brought the club championship final to extra-time as they would eventually go on to win.
