Donegal will get the chance to take on Derry in this year's Dr McKenna Cup, following the draw for the semi-final.
The sides were due to meet in the opening fixture of Section C of the competition, only for the match at O'Donnell Park to be postponed due to safety concerns in sub-zero conditions. Eventually, both parties were content to share the points with little room on the calendar for a reschedule.

With both sides beating Antrim, Donegal and Derry made it to the last four, with Jim McGuinness's team ended up in second place, although the best of the runners-up across the three groups.
Derry were handed home advantage for Wednesday's semi-final, with the other last four tie being between Monaghan and Tyrone. The games will be played on Wednesday, January 14, at 7.30pm, with the first team named having home advantage. Venues will be confirmed. Derry defeated Donegal 0-12 to 0-6 in the 2024 Dr McKenna Cup final.
