7: It seems like Jim McGuinness intends to go with Michael Langan and Hugh McFadden as captain and vice-captain in 2026. Langan often wore the armband in 2025 whenever the now retired Patrick McBrearty didn’t feature from the off. So you’d imagine the St Michael’s man is next in line there now. McFadden, who must have been heartbroken not to start the All-Ireland final, led the team out against Antim last Sunday. But time will tell, and the side’s NFL opener with Dublin may well reveal more.
