ATU Donegal were beaten by Mary Immaculate College in the Trench Cup semi-final on Tuesday evening on a difference of 4-11 to 1-11.
Maxi Curran's outfit started slow, only scoring a single point in the opening quarter of an hour, whereas the Limerick scholars had 2-2 in that same time.

The Universities traded two-point frees just before the half, with Mary Immaculate leading by nine points going into the break.

The Letterkenny college started the second half on top, but the Treaty side put the tie beyond ATU’s reach with a fourth goal halfway through the second half.
The Limerick School never looked back after the fourth three-pointer and ran out nine-point winners at the Connacht Centre of Excellence.
