The Donegal Under-16 ladies manager, Aidan McAteer, has named his captain and vice-captains for the 2026 season.
Gaeil Fhánada man McAteer, who previously managed the Under-14s, has taken over as Under-16 boss from Dessie McNamara and Paul Gillespie, with the pair taking on the newly formed Under-20s side.
And McAteer has named Megan Gallagher from the Four Masters club as captain for the season.
Rachel Wallace of Dungloe and Gaeil Fhánada’s Amy McAteer have been named as vice-captains.

The Donegal Under-16s won the All-Ireland C title last year, but the majority of that team have now moved up to Declan McDermott’s minor side, who opened their Ulster Championship account with a win over Armagh in the group stage on Saturday.
