Domhnall Mac Giolla Bhride will make his first appearance for Donegal having been drafted into the team that takes on Down, throw-in 1:30pm.

The Gaoth Dobhair midfielder comes in to replace Caolan McGonigle, with Luke McGlynn from Glenfin also making his debut and while no captain has been officially announced, it was Ciaran Thompson who took the toss in Newry.

Donegal: Michael Lynch; Stephen McMenamin, Brendan McCole, Jamie Grant; Caolan McColgan, Caolan Ward, Jeaic Mac Ceallabhuí; Rory O’Donnell, Domhnall Mac Giolla Bhride;  Luke McGlynn, Ciaran Thompson, Conor O’Donnell; Jamie McBrennan, Patrick McBrearty, Daire Ó Baoill.
