Donegal featured five debutants against Monaghan - here they are

In their second Dr McKenna Cup match of the campaign against Monaghan on Tuesday night, Donegal manager Paddy Carr gave five new players their first taste of competitive action - Gavin Mulreany, Kealan Dunleavy, Gary McFadden, Philip Doherty and Kieran Tobin

Gavin Mulreany (St Naul’s)
Mulreany was in goal for Shaun Paul Barrett’s Donegal when they won the 2016 Ulster Minir Championship and reached the All-Ireland semi-final, where they were beaten by Galway. A consistent performer for St Naul’s, he helped the Mountcharles club to a first ever Donegal SFC quarter-final in 2021. The Inver native has kept goal for Finn Harps, where he spent last season, and the Irish Defence Forces.
