The Aurora Borealis was visible in parts of Donegal last night.
The display in the video was captured at Fort Dunree at 12:27am this morning by Adam Rory Porter Photography, a fine art landscape photographer and fine art print maker from Buncrana.
“The clouds finally parted and we were blessed with a fabulous display,” he shared. “We might even get another wee blast tonight! The clouds finally played ball and we had a beautiful show.”

Through Adam’s Northern Light Gallery, he shares the peninsula’s magic with the world, transforming landscapes and fleeting celestial wonders into timeless art. His work is also available at www.irishhands.com – a new platform dedicated to supporting artists and creative makers from Inishowen and the north-west.
The music used in the timelapse is Glue by Bicep, an electronic duo originally from Belfast, County Antrim.
