Donegal will welcome last year's All-Ireland and league champions Meath to Letterkenny's O'Donnell Park on Saturday, throw-in 1pm.

Maxi Curran's young side side opened their LGFA Lidl Division 1 campaign on Saturday with an 0-11 to 0-6 loss against Galway in Tuam, while Meath, now under the stewardship of Davy Nelson, went down 0-11 to 0-8 against Dublin.

Last year, Meath and Donegal twice met at Croke Park, with the team then managed by Eamonn Murray coming out on top on each occasion by two points. In the TG4 All-Ireland SFC semi-final in July, they won out on a scoreline of 0-12 to 1-7, following a 2-8 to 1-9 success in the LGFA Lidl Division 1 semi-final in April.
