Donegal SHC and Ulster JHC winners Setanta are looking for a new manager.

Gary McGettigan guided the club from the Cross the victory in the Donegal final against Burt after extra-time and they followed that up with success in the province, defeating Shane O'Neill's from Antrim 1-22 to 0-15 at Celtic Park. Beforehand, Setanta were winners of the Senior Hurling League in Donegal and their only defeat of the campaign came in the All-Ireland Club JHC quarter-final against Kilburn Gaels, 3-12 to 0-17 in Carrickmore. 

"The hunt is on for the next senior hurling manager to take the reins at Setanta Hurling Club located at the Crossroads, Killygordon, reads a club release. "Setanta are the current senior Donegal League Champions, County Champions and Junior Ulster Champions. Formed in 1979, Setanta is a tight knit, grass roots, hurling only club – with a strong underage setup from U6 right through to senior level.

"The club have a strong, dedicated senior squad together with a loyal following of supporters making this an attractive post for any incoming manager. Expressions of interest may be made in writing/email to the runaí at secretary.setantahc.donegal@gaa.ie. The closing date is February 28.
