Michael Boyle helped Gaoth Dobhair to Donegal SFC and Ulster Club SFC success in 2018
Michael Boyle’s first Allianz League match as a coach with London ended in a dramatic draw on Saturday.
The Termon clubman saw his side - managed by Michael Maher - score a goal through Matthew Walsh in the 75th minute to grab a share of the spoils against Wexford in Division 4 at Chadwicks Wexford Park in a 1-9 apiece draw.
Boyle’s clubmate Nathan McElwaine played corner-back for the Exiles, who trailed 0-5 to 0-2 at half-time and then 1-8 to 0-5 on 46 minutes. Conor McGonigle, who like McElwaine is with the North London Shamrocks club, previously played with Gaeil Fhánada and was on the bench in Wexford.
Last season Boyle - who was Donegal’s substitute goalkeeper for the All-Ireland success in 2012 - managed North London Shamrocks having coached Gaoth Dobhair to victory in both the Donegal SFC and Ulster Club SFC back in 2018.
