St Michael's to install floodlights at The Bridge

The main pitch at The Bridge in Dunfanaghy will see the erection of six new floodlights after planning permission was granted

St Michael’s GAA club have been given the go ahead for the installation of floodlights.

Six floodlights will be erected around the main pitch at The Bridge.

Last summer, the club, in the name of chairperson Liam McElhinney, lodged a planning permission request with Donegal County Council.

This is the latest part of the club’s development. In 2010, a new clubhouse, including dressing rooms, meeting room, hall and viewing area, was officially opened.

Donegal County Council conveyed the decision to give the green light for the floodlight construction.
