Setanta have landed a major coup with confirmation that eleven-time All-Ireland winning manager Brian Cody will attend their annual dinner dance.

Cody will attend the annual function on February 25 at the Villa Rose Hotel in Ballybofey and will be the guest speaker on the night.

Cody guided Kilkenny to 11 Liam MacCarthy Cups, 18 Leinster SHCs and 10 National Hurling League titles.

Cody managed the Cats from November 1998-July 2022.

A Setanta spokesperson said: “There is great excitement as news of their guest speaker filtered through the club earlier this evening. 

“Cody knows what it takes to be a leader and how to successfully motivate and inspire a team to win again and again, he is widely known for his inspiring speeches.”

Setanta Hurling Club had their own share of success in 2022. 

They are the current Ulster Junior kingpins, the Donegal SHC champions and the Donegal Senior Hurling League holders,

There are a limited number of tickets available, the night includes a drinks reception, four-course meal and entertainment.

Tickets can be purchased from hotel reception or from any committee member.
