Donegal hurling boss Mickey McCann.
Donegal’s delayed Conor McGurk final clash with Ulster University will finally go ahead next Thursday evening, March 2.
Mickey McCann’s men had previously defeated Monaghan in the quarter-final of the pre-season competition by 3-31 to 0-8 but their semi-final against Antrim fell foul of the weather twice back in late January, before the Saffrons eventually withdrew from the competition.
The decider has since had to sit as league action took centre stage. But with Donegal now in the midst of a break in Division 2B proceedings, McCann will no doubt be glad of the competitive action in between. Thursday evening’s action gets going at 8pm at the Dub Arena in Belfast and admission is free.
Donegal are next in Division 2B action when Wicklow come to Letterkenny on Sunday, March 12.
