St Mary's Convoy GAA held their bumper 50k fundraising draw on Friday ngiht.
Rodger and Angie O’Connor were the lucky winners plucked out of the drawdrum for the St Mary’s Convoy GAA jackpot of €50,000.
The local pair’s ticket was the first pulled on St Patrick’s Night, taking home the main prize while there were a number of other €1,000 cash winners.
They were: Liam and Pat Mailey (Convoy); John Parke (Raphoe); Pat Brogan (Donegal town); Danie Doherty (Lifford) and James Conroy, USA.
Months of feverous selling culminated in last nights’ event at their annual dinner dance, held at the Villa Rose Hotel, Ballybofey with proceeds from those efforts going towards the development of their new facilities.
