Four Masters chalked up their first win of the season in Division 2 with a comfortable win over Buncrana, at the Scarvey, on Saturday evening.
Buncrana 0-6 Four Masters 1-8
Seanan Carr scored the goal and Killian Faulkner, Alex McCalmont and Cian Hegarty two points each in the five point win over the locals. Sean McLaughlin top scored for Gary Duffy’s side who were down a number of first choice players including their county man Caolan McGonagle.
In their third game on the trop on the road this was a thoroughly deserved victor for Kevin Sinclair. They led from very early and were 1-5 to 0-4, in front at half-time. Senan Carr scored the goal. It was plain enough sailing for the Masters in a low scoring second half where both defences were on top and scores and scoring chances were at a premium.
