Termon maintained their unbeaten start to Division Two of the All County League with a comprehensive victory at the Burn Road over Letterkenny Gaels.

Termon 2-19 Letterkenny Gaels 1-3

The visiting Gaels were in the game right up to the 25th minute but within 60 seconds, a point from 50metres out into the wind and a goal drilled into the bottom corner from 22 metres out, both by Ryan McFadden, put Termon in the driving seat 1-6 to 0-3.

A Ronan Frain penalty early in the second half closed the gap to three points but that was to be their only score for the rest of the game as Termon kicked into gear. McFadden would end the tie with 2-3, his second goal came after the Gaels keeper dropped the ball and the Termon captain toe poked it into the net.

Aaron Reid kicked four quality points from play while the returning Jamie Grant knocked over two. Daire McDaid hit 0-5 Anthony Grant and Bobby McGettigan contributed 0-2 each, and Jack Alcorn also got on the scoresheet.

Frain scored 1-1 for Gaels with the other two scores Adam Duffy frees. A difficult afternoon for the Gaels but Termon continue to build momentum at the top of the division.
